Just watched Thomas L. Friedman discussing his new book, Hot, Flat and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution - And How it Can Renew America on Meet the Press. Friedman believes America needs to pursue development of E.T. — energy technology — with the same fervor we pursued the a Space Race, and that this Earth Race will creat an energy revolution.
