via rickyv: Ricky’s Quickies: MOVIE REVIEW!4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days I read on Lindsay’s blog that this movie was available On Demand the same day it premiered in theatres. What a great idea, IFC Films! I probably wouldn’t have gone and seen this in theatres (especially when it’s twenty degrees out), but at 10pm last night, with an empty DVR thanks to the writers’ strike, Anna and I bought it for $5.99.Granted I’ve always been a huge fan of the Romanian abortion genre, but this film was really worth seeing. No special effects or over the top drama, just extended scenes of solid acting. There’s one scene at a dinner table that is so long and painfully real, it’s been in my head since I watched it. Parts will make you avert your eyes and other parts will glue you to the screen and make your heart race.Anyway, worth your six bucks. Hey Ricky, this is awesome!  I work at IFC Films and manage the release of our films on On Demand.  How rewarding to read that you enjoyed the film and the convenience of the service right in my very own Dashboard.  It’s like the ultimate positive feedback loop!  Thanks so much for the post and the buy.
