Interesting article about independent films finding audiences at atypical theatrical venues, and the changes these venue managers are making to enable theatrical screenings (e.g., HD projection, turning small offices into small screening rooms). Helping specialty films find their audience is a daunting task; I’m all for anything that gets great films like CHOP SHOP or 4 MONTHS 3 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS in front of people.
