I saw a series of short shorts by Isabella Rossellini called Green Porno at Hot Docs yesterday. It’s about the sex lives of insects and is charming and hilarious. If only sex ed was like this…
Glad you liked them, TAV! The rest of the Green Porno films can be viewed online SundanceChannel.com and on Helio mobile phones beginning May 5th - 2 months ahead of their TV premiere. Isabella conceived of the original series specifically for the “3rd screen,” e.g. the web and cellphones, which I find so avant garde and cool. The New York Times recently interviewed her about the project. She’s also appearing in person at the Apple Store Soho on Tuesday, April 29th. A selection of the films are screening at the Tribeca Film Festival right now as well.
