Hi! I'm Lisa. I work in TV and film as writer, producer & editor. This is my blog about the work I do and the news, trends and technologies that touch it. With the occasional totally unrelated bits thrown in.

Years before I started working at Sundance Channel, I watched the first season of ICONOCLASTS and was instantly smitten. It was one of those moments when you say to yourself, “I wish I’d thought of that! I wish I’d made that!” — a mixture of jealousy and awe.
The show is beautifully simple: each episode, creative visionaries discuss their lives, influences, and art. It is the brainchild of filmmakers Bruce Sinofsky and Joe Berlinger, who also made the compelling documentary METALLICA: SOME KIND OF MONSTER. I was lucky enough to meet them both at the Season 4 launch party last week and totally fan geeked out on them. I can’t help but be proud to be associated with one of my favorite shows on television.
The pairings this season are as interesting as ever:
Archbishop Desmond Tutu + Sir Richard Branson
Stelly McCartney + Edward Ruscha
Tony Hawk + Jon Favreau
Bill Maher + Clive Davis
Venus Williams + Wyclef Jean
Cameron Diaz + Cameron Sinclair
If you’ve never seen the show, I highly encourage you to Tivo or tune in tonight at 10PM E/P. If you don’t get a kick out of watching Richard Branson teach Desmond Tutu how to swim, you may not be human.
